When you look at this image, what do you see? It looks familiar. It kinda looks like the Mojave Desert in Nevada and California. But it’s no where near it. This is surface of Mars, a photograph taken by the Curiosity Rover just a few days ago. I find it fascinating because even though it looks like Earth, it’s actually quite alien. Here on Earth, even the most seemingly inhospitable environments are in infested with life. Heck, even our own bodies carry more bacterial cells than human ones. But not here, this place is lifeless.
